The IRA compliance advantage

Hiring BMC helps your project qualify for full IRA credits.

For qualifying clean-energy projects subject to the Inflation Reduction Act's labor standards, meeting prevailing-wage and apprenticeship requirements can multiply the base credit or deduction by five. Blue Mountain complies with the applicable requirements on covered work.

5× Base credit or deduction when applicable requirements are satisfied
15% or more Qualified-apprentice labor hours for construction beginning in 2024 or later

Apprenticeship compliance also includes registered-program ratio and participation requirements. Final tax-credit eligibility is determined by the taxpayer and depends on project-wide compliance.

How apprentices fit at BMC.

Apprentices at Blue Mountain are not a program running beside the work — they are crew members. They work production scopes from day one — erosion and sediment control, earthwork and grading, utilities and drainage — under the direct supervision of experienced foremen and operators.

As a site progresses from controls and access through grading, utilities, and stabilization, apprentices move with the crew, taking on the tasks the sequence calls for and earning more responsibility as they prove their skills and safety habits.

On covered clean-energy projects, registered-apprentice hours are planned and documented against the applicable labor-hour and ratio requirements. Workforce development and IRA compliance run through the same crew structure — and our clients get the records to show it.
