The Afton site combined steep slopes, concentrated runoff, and a river below the work. We installed reinforced perimeter controls and maintained the basins, channels, and access as one system. During our work, the site recorded zero silt-fence breaches and zero Virginia DEQ corrective actions. When rain pushed the schedule into winter, our crew finished the remaining scope before a major snowstorm.

We self-perform grading, stormwater, pipe, access, erosion control, and stabilization. Our owners stay involved from pricing through field execution and closeout.
Site work that stays connected.
We came to solar through concrete, general site development, and energy work. That background shapes how we read plans, sequence earthwork, manage water, and prepare the ground for the trades that follow.
Bring us in as a self-performing subcontractor, the civil scope lead, or the general contractor when the project calls for it.

Core services
Utility-Scale Solar Site Work
Civil site preparation, grading, drainage, access, and logistics for utility-scale solar and renewable-energy projects.
Grading & Access
Mass earthwork and finish grading for access roads, equipment areas, foundations, drainage, and the elevations the next trade depends on.
Stormwater, Basins & Pipe
Stormwater basins, drainage structures, and underground pipe installed to plan, coordinated with the grading sequence, and ready to perform.
E&S Controls & Stabilization
Inspection-ready perimeter controls, stabilized entrances, erosion matting, and measures that keep soil and runoff contained throughout construction.
Demolition
Selective demolition and removal, often the front end of a site job and the source of material we recycle right back into it.
Recycled Aggregate & On-Site Crushing
Concrete processed into reusable aggregate on the project site, reducing haul-off, imported material, and dependence on third-party schedules.

One site. Connected civil scopes.
The photos below show how Blue Mountain keeps access, drainage, stabilization, and material movement working as one field system.
Rock-lined channels, erosion matting, straw-lined ditches, and seeded slopes manage runoff and protect disturbed ground. Stabilized entrances and timber-mat roads keep crews and equipment moving when conditions are soft or changing.
Equipment staging and aggregate handling complete the picture: practical civil work sequenced to keep the site controlled, productive, and ready for what comes next.
One standard across every civil scope.
Whether we are performing site development, excavation, underground utility installation, grading, or other civil construction services, our commitment remains the same.
We build with integrity. We work with purpose. We lead with safety.
